What’s worked for me (this time)
Having had some recent success with losing weight and getting in shape, I thought I should share what problem I’ve been following, in case people are looking for ideas.
Since late June, I’ve been following the Transform 2007 TNT plan from the Men’s Health.com website. It combines both a diet plan and regular exercise routine, and I’ve found that many sites only provide one or the other. I can truly say that this time I’ve been more successful because I’ve paid attention to both - you can’t just cut back on the calories without exercising, nor can you only exercise and expect results if your eating habits are out of whack.
The nutrition plan on TNT is primarily low-carb; now, don’t let that scare you. I know that many people, myself included, felt that cutting out bread, sugar, fruit, etc. could be extremely challenging, and it was. However, the withdrawal I felt (and I use the word ‘withdrawal’ deliberately) was short-lived, and after about a week or so I was fine without it.
