Diet and Fat: ‘Mistaken Consensus?’

The TNT Diet plan I’m currently following runs counter to everything I’ve ever been told - it’s low carb, high fat, and moderate protein. All my life I’ve been told to stay away from fat, fat is bad, eating fat makes you fat, etc. I recently found this article from the New York Times which points out that these ideas may have stemmed from a case of ‘mistaken consensus’. It just goes to show that theories and ideas abound, but the bottom line is: take in fewer calories than you expend, and you’ll lose weight.
