Lust - so what?

As part of my accountability with other guys, I have CovenantEyes installed on my computer. This application watches every website I visit, and reports them to 2 different accountability partners of mine, who have free rein to ask me questions and call me on the carpet if I’m surfing to inappropriate spots. Covenant Eyes runs a blog of their own, and one of the recent articles really intrigued me - why is lust sometimes considered a sin with a ‘little s,’ when God looks at all sin the same?  The next question then becomes, does food addiction fall into the same category? It intrigues me how people who don’t struggle with gluttony sometimes have trouble understanding those of us who do, and that we see it as a sin, because it takes the place of Christ on our throne of worship.
