Pushup variations
I’m not going to be able to get to the gym tomorrow morning, so I’ll be doing a mini-workout at home. I always try to get some pushups in, but doing regular pushups all the time can get pretty boring. They’re a great all-around exercise, though, because they work not only the arms and chest, but they also help strengthen and stabilize your core. They also don’t require any additional equipment - just some floor space.
Craig Ballantyne from Turbulence Training has a quick 45-second video on YouTube that shows several different variations of the traditional pushup - take a look and let me know which one is your favorite. I’m intrigued by the Grasshopper variation - I’m not sure my body can move that way….
