New Rules of Lifting
I recently finished the final 12-week workout plan from the TNT Diet, and decided to take a look at what else was out there. After review through several of the training and fitness blogs, and reviews from other users, I settled on New Rules of Lifting: Six Basic Moves for Maximum Muscle by Alwyn Cosgrove. I’ve linked to blog articles from Alwyn before - his training philosophy is solid, and he puts great emphasis on the fact that you won’t be able to see real, sustainable weight loss (or maintenance, if you’re there) unless you incorporate resistance and weight training into your activities. Since he was a great influence on Adam Campbell and Jeff Volek on their material for the TNT Diet, I had already seen great results myself from using his workout program. I’m looking forward to the change in routine, and hope to kick-start my weight loss - I’m within striking distance of my goal weight, and would really love to reach it by Memorial Day.
