Abdominal workout with Swiss Ball

I’ve been using a Swiss Ball as part of my workouts for a while now, and it really adds difficulty to any exercise. This is because the ball destabilizes you, and you have to activate and use additional muscles or muscle groups in order to maintain your balance - if you’ve ever roll off the edge of the ball, you know what I’m talking about.

Craig Ballantyne has several Swiss ball workouts designed to help strengthen your core muscles, and I’ve linked to one of the videos below. As he notes, these exercises require a greater level of spinal flexion, so if you are susceptible to lower-back pain, it would probably be best to bypass these exercises altogether.
