What if no one were fat?

Found this interesting article on MSN Money that I thought was worth sharing. The article states that 66% of Americans are overweight. If everyone were at their ideal weight, the savings we’d see on health, food, clothing, and fuel could total $487 billion (yes, that’s billion with a B). That’s enough to give every family in America more than $4000. That’s a hefty chunk of change - how could our economy improve with that kind of economic stimulus package, not to mention how optimistic everyone might feel because they just plain feel better.
