Sunday Stars for June 15th
2008 June 15
Hey everyone - as per my usual Sunday post, here’s what I’ve starred this week in Google Reader:
- Q&A: Core Training - Trainer Mike Robertson discusses what looks like some very difficult, and potentially painful, sit-ups and other core exercises.
- Jillian Michaels’ Upcoming Wii game - I wish we had a Wii (but I’m too cheap to pony up the $$$ and the time to get one). Jillian Michaels has developed a game for the Wii using the new balance board, and if it’s anything like the workouts she prescribed on The Biggest Loser, this will prove to be killer (but very effective).
- Father’s Day Fat Loss: Who Has It Easier? - Trainer Craig Ballantyne looks at several factors in weight loss and who, men or women, have the advantage in each.
- Yahoo Runs Into Google’s Arms - now that it appears that the Yahoo/Microsoft deal is completely dead, Yahoo has taken another suitor - Google. I say ‘good’ - maybe now my blog will actually show up in Yahoo searches (it doesn’t come up as often as it does in Google searches).
- Psalm 56: The Fearful - In this article, Pastor Josh Harris uses the Scripture to answer the question ‘What should I do when I’m afraid?’
- Mr. Gallon and measurement memory - Okay, this is just silly, but a good illustration to use if you’re teaching your kids the relationships between cups, pints, quarts, and gallons.
