Okay, so I’ve reached the goal of running a 5K, and I thought that would be it - I wouldn’t really want to run much anymore. However, I’ve found that I really actually enjoy it - I’m not very good at it, but I’m getting better. My next goal is to improve my time to get under a 10-minute mile; for a 42-year old who just started running, this is a goal that I think I can attain, but will still take some work.
I’ve been doing some online research on running, and found this video about proper warm-up. While the information is pretty basic, I’m sharing it with you for a couple of reasons:
- It’s a good reminder for those guys who have been running for awhile;
- Some people learn better by seeing something demonstrated than they do by just reading about it;
- Based on everything else I’ve read, his technique is pretty sound;
- Saying what he’s saying with a British accent makes it seem more credible… =)
So take a look, and let me know what you think:
