Sunday Stars for June 22nd
2008 June 22
I’ve found some very interesting blog entries this week to share with you - here’s what I’ve starred in Google Reader:
- A quick lesson in knee stability - As you’ve probably heard, Tiger Woods is having season-ending knee surgery soon. In this entry from Mike Robertson’s blog, Mike talks about the nature of this particular injury, and ways to avoid injuring your own knees.
- How to Have the Greatest Day of Your Life - If you could focus on these 7 things, your days would go much, much better.
- Jesus Rode Dinosaurs? - This illustration came from a Beginner’s Bible coloring book? I search through all four Gospels to find a reference to dinosaurs, and couldn’t come up with one. Can anyone help me out?
- Reverse Goal Setting for Weight Loss - Craig Ballantyne shares information on a type of goal-setting that is pretty strict, but promises great results.
- Send Free Postcards from Facebook with HippoPost - I love Facebook, and have enjoyed getting connected with people from high school and college who I’d lost track of. With this interesting application, you can send actual postcards (yes, that’s right, the paper thingies that have a stamp and a postman delivers) to other Facebook recipients - for free!
- Lunchtime Quiz - Troy McClure Film or Actual Terrible Movie? - The folks over at Mental Floss have come up with a very quirky quiz. I love the Simpsons, and I scored a 90% - can you beat my score?
- Turning Ideas Into Reality - Brad Lomenick’s blog article is specifically about church services, but the concepts he discusses can be used for moving any idea into reality.
