Sunday Stars for July 27th

2008 July 27

First of all, I need to send a shout-out to my lovely bride, Cindy. Happy Anniversary, dear!  Seventeen years ago today, you made me the happiest man in the world, and I thank you and love you for being my friend, my love, my confidant, and sometimes my conscience. Love ya!

And now, on to the articles I starred this week in Google Reader:

  • 9 Exercises to Replace Crunches - According to Craig Ballantyne, there are a lot more effective exercises than crunches if you’re working on tightening up your abs. Here are 9 of them.
  • Dealing with Blind People - This is a great article to encourage you that while you may have a great witness and share Christ with others, it is ultimately God who will reveal Himself to those who don’t yet know Him.
  • “Will You?” vs. “Want To?” - It’s amazing how changing two little words when asking a question of your spouse can change the response you might receive.
  • Dante’s Inferno Test - Dante’s trilogy (Inferno, Purgatorio, and Paradise) is, surprisingly enough, one of my favorite summer reads. I do one each summer, so it takes me three summers to complete the cycle. This year it’s Inferno, so I thought that this test, forwarded by Pastor Joe Thorn, was very timely. Where do YOU rank on the scale?
