Sunday Stars for August 10th
2008 August 10
It’s been a busy week and weekend, but I’ve managed to star a few things in Google Reader this week that might be of interest to you:
- Three Weeks - I can’t believe it, but according to the calendar and Alwyn Cosgrove, it’s only 3 weeks until Labor Day, the ‘official’ end of summer. You still have time to set some fitness goals - what will they be?
- Where to Rent a Lens Online - I’d never thought about this concept before, but if you wanted to try out a lens and didn’t want to spend the money, you could always rent one. This entry from Digital Photography Forums tells you where.
- The Suburban Christian - Steve McCoy interviews Al Hsu about his book The Suburban Christian: Finding Spiritual Vitality in the Land of Plenty
. Living in the Chicago suburbs as I do, this sounds like an interesting read.
- Distance Running - This is an hysterical account from Dr. Awesome at ‘To Every Man a Manswer’ about his experience with running a half-marathon.
- Lego Jesus? Who Knew? - I can’t believe that someone actually created a Bible with illustrations made up entirely of Legos.
